We adhere to the following classification of articles: empirical articles with quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods of research and replication (replication articles). These journal articles report on primary or original research, that is, research that has not been formally published before. Theoretical articles and methodological articles do not present research, but describe advances in theories or methods. Journal articles that review or synthesize the results of primary research include literature reviews and quantitative and qualitative meta-analyses. Different types of articles can be published in the thematic sections of the journal, so we label the type of article in the Category section of the website.
